Meter Beating

"Meter Beating" was produced by Spanking for Pleasure and distributed in the US by CalStar. One of my sources dates the movie to 1999 which certainly seems plausible.  The same source says that the blond actress in Jan Burton and the brunette is Malvina Layton; both are well known British porn stars and a quick search of the web suggests that those identifications are probably correct.  None of my sources identify the domme.

The movie opens with an Inspector from the gas board arriving at the front door of a house shared by two young women.  An attractive brunette answers the door but she tries to stall the Inspector until she can call her roommate.  The blonde roommate comes downstairs wearing only a red nightie and the Inspector tells then that are irregularities with their gas bill.  It turns out that the girls have bypassed the gas meter to avoid paying their bill.  After some grovelling, the girls decide that corporal punishment is preferable to dealing with the police so the Inspector goes to bring the ‘standard gas company issued equipment’ from her van.

The blonde is first over the Inspector’s knee for a long OTK spanking, her panties come down part way through but otherwise the spanking is ‘routine’.  After the spanking the Inspector tells the blonde to remove her nightie and stand in the corner. Then it’s the brunettes turn, she complains more than her roommate but the spanking is similar and her skirt and panties also come off during the course of the spanking.

Now it’s time to move on to the next stage of the punishments using the equipment provided by the gas company starting with a common leather paddle followed by a narrower but longer paddle. 

The blonde takes her place over the spanking horse and receives nearly 200 swats with the first paddle.  There may have been some doubling but I don’t think there was a lot.  The brunette is next.  She receives a noticeably shorter padding with the first paddle but she remains over the horse for about 80 swats with the second paddle which seems to be a more formidable implement.  The blonde goes back over the horse for her session with the second paddle and again she seems to receive a more severe paddling than her roommate.

  

Finally the Inspector brings out the cane but, before starting, she tells the brunette to take off her top.  The blonde is first and she receives 16 hard strokes of the cane (there may have been some doubling but I don't think there was much if any) then the brunette follows here over the horse for a caning that seems both longer and harder.  The movie ends rather abruptly with the two girls starting to get dressed.

There are a few minor technical problems.  The sound levels are inconsistent and there is some background noise in the opening scene. The lighting is a little dark in a few scenes and the small size of the room limits the camera positions.  Otherwise the technical quality is good for the time.

I liked this movie but it doesn’t rise to the level of my all-time favorites due to one major weakness.For me, all it would have required to make this a great video was a few more face shots during the paddling and caning scenes; that would be easy today and it wouldn’t have been much more difficult in 1999.  Even without that, it is a movie worth watching and I have returned to it several times since I first watched it.

Were 'Girls Spanked Hard' and 'Whipping-Films.com' run by the same people?

I haven't posted for far too long but part of that was due to the time I spent archiving material and searching for a new host during Blogger's last outburst of censorship fervor.  They seem to have backed away from that (at least for the moment) but I going to continue evaluating other options.

Before all this began, a reader asked me if I thought that 'Girls Spanked Hard' and 'Whipping-Films.com' might have been run by the same people.  He certainly has a point; both sites offered videos that have a lot in common (including a rather black sense of humor that was one of the things I liked about these videos) and both stopped offering new material at about the same time.   I once exchanged a couple of emails with the proprietor of 'Girls Spanked Hard' and he told me that he ran several websites but he didn't identify the others and I never made any effort to find them.

The comment sparked my curiosity and I'm also happy to go back and and take another look at some favorite videos in the name of research.  There are a few differences.  As Bill noted 'Girls Spanked Hard' was clearly a one-man operation while 'Whipping-Films.com' involved several people; a camera man is visible in the shadows in one of their
videos.  I also noticed a few other small differences but nothing of any significance.  I tried to get a good look at the male top (Alex and Scott) in these sets of videos but that turned out to be more difficult than I had expected; I could never capture a good 'face on' image of the two that I could compare.  They are similar, the beard and the glasses are easily changed, but the more I watched the more I came to believe that they weren't the same person since the shape of the face looks different to me.  Then I listened to the voices and they were so different that I was convinced that Alex and Scott were definitely not the same person. Of course, that doesn't mean the two operations weren't related.  But, unless there is some other information too suggest that the 'Girls Spanked Hard' and 'Whipping-Films.com' were run
by the same people, I'm skeptical that there is actually any relationship between the two.

I have a couple of videos to review and I will try to do post those before my next trip, or before Blogger management change their mind again.
