I read a posting the Erosmedia video “Spirit of Emotion” while I was browsing the web and I was able to track down a copy.  I haven’t been able to find out much about the production company (Erosmedia) but I understand that it is a German company that has made about 30 videos under the “History Torture” banner.  “Spirit of Emotion” in number 7 in that series.  It stars Valeska Deseria and Simona Sun and it was made about 2003.  Based on the number of hits on Google it seems that it may have been one of the company’s most popular videos.  I was able to obtain a copy from one of several distributors that carry it.  

The video opens with Valeska Deseria (in a very shear negligee) exploring a dungeon alone and obviously very interested in what she is finding.  She is trying out some the implements when she is interrupted by the arrival of the dungeon master with a blonde prisoner (or maybe it’s just part of her fantasy, it works either way).  The dungeon master has his prisoner wait while he turns his attention to the intruder.  He shackles her arms to an overhead beam, undresses her and begins to abuse her with a leather flogger.  In time her turns his attention back to his prisoner and she receives similar treatment but he eventually gives the flogger to our heroine and they take turns tormenting the prisoner with a flogger and a birch.

 

After this lengthy scene, the dungeon master turns his attention back to the intruder; she is bound with rope and the dungeon master and blonde prisoner takes turns beat her with a variety of implements.  This sets the pattern for the remainder of the video.  Each of the women is alternately subjected to a variety of torments by the dungeon master while the other either sits and watches or assists the dungeon master.   Their torments include a variety of whips, floggers and crops, hot wax, needles, clothes pegs and both spend some time sitting on the horse; a favorite of mine which partially compensated for the rather disappointing birchings.  

I liked this video and I have watched it several times.  It is video is really a full length movie since it  

runs 1:48 and it is more erotic (both women frequently sound like they are on the verge of organism during their torments) than BDSM (the punishments are quite restrained).  There is no dialog but there is background music that is appropriate to the scene but I do have two complaints.  First, the lighting is very dark.  Adjusting the brightness and contrast helps but it can’t replace what was never there in the first place.  Second the ending is very abrupt and the story stops without really finishing.   Despite this, I have no doubt that I will be watching this video again in the future.

I’ve had the opportunity to watch three other Erosmedia History of Torture videos since I first saw “Spirit of Emotion” and none were as good as my first.  The real problem is that they are all the same – there are different victims and the torments are in different orders but there is never anything new.  “Spirit of Emotion” remains a favorite but I’m not planning to buy any other videos in this series.
