The Academy of Dr Marcus Blunt

‘The Academy of Dr Marcus Blunt’ is a 45-minute long movie that was directed by George Harrison-Marks and released by Kane International about 1991.  I suspect was made in conjunction with ‘Maids in Uniform’ since the two movies share most of the same cast including David Brooks, Alison de Brett, Samantha Belanche and John Brazen.  Bill Bletchley is also credited although he doesn’t actually appear in my copy of this movie.  Like ‘Maids in Uniform’, ‘The Academy of Dr Marcus Blunt’ was the basis for a photostory in issue no. 59 of Kane Magazine.  To the best of my knowledge, this movie is not currently available from any distributor.

‘The Academy of Dr Marcus Blunt’ consists of four segments.  In the first, David Brooks plays Marcus Blunt, an elderly schoolmaster. When he leaves his office, Jenny Pennywhacker, played by Alison de Brett in auburn pigtails and a full schoolgirl uniform, sneaks in to take a look at the answer key for an upcoming examination.  Dr Blunt returns to catch her in the act and he recognizes the name since her cousin was a student with disciplinary issues in his school just a few years before.  He decides that a “sound spanking” is in order and Jenny goes OTK very quickly.  Next, Jenny kneels on a chair and Brooks uses a studded strap on her bottom.  Finally, he gives her 21 strokes of the cane, counted out with gasps from Jenny.  This scene last nearly 16 minutes.

In the second segment, Jenny visits the house of her cousin ‘Samantha’ (played by Samantha Belanche) who is a prostitute.  Samantha is in the process of receiving a bare bottom flogging from a client when Jenny walks in.  She quickly turns to leave and the guy completes the spanking.  That is apparently enough for him so he pays Samantha and departs.  Samantha scolds Jenny for interrupting, and Jenny confesses she was just whipped at school.  Samantha remembers that dirty old Dr Blunt as she has Jenny show her bottom.  Samantha rubs Jenny’s bottom (maybe a bit too tenderly but this is a George Harrison-Marks film after all) as she announces “I’m going to teach that bastard a lesson.”  This scene lasts about 10 minutes.

The third segment opens with Samantha bursting in on Dr. Blunt at his desk.  She is still wearing her outfit from the last scene which doesn’t seem like something she would have worn on the street.  Dr. Blunt remembers her but she is able to convince him that his spanking of her cousin was illegal.  She tells him that he had better accept a beating himself   He accepts and bends over his desk, Samantha helps him get his pants down.  He is hand spanked on his bare butt, then flogged and finally caned.  This scene lasts about 9 minutes.

Finally, Samantha returns home to find Jenny wearing nothing but panties and masturbating to pictures of musclemen in a magazine and Samantha decides that she will be spanked for that.  Jenny kneels on all fours on the bed. Samantha pulls those knickers down, and we get the most explicit display of her possibly ever in her films.  By this point the movie seems to have fallen into a rather predictable routine, hand spanking, flogger and then cane.  At the conclusion of the punishment, she falls into more than a friendly cuddle with her cousin which brings the movie to a close.  This final scene lasts about 10 minutes.


I know several people who describe this as one of their favorite spanking movies.  I wouldn’t go that far but it certainly is worth seeing. Some of the cinematography isn’t up to George Harrison-Marks’ usual standards and too many spanking scenes are only filmed from one angle which doesn't show the face and that is my favorite view.  I was also disappointed by the  predictable sequence of hand spanking, flogger and cane in too many of the sequences.  Nevertheless, it does have it’s moments.
