Marital Strokes

‘Marital Strokes’ is a 23-minute movie made by Cavern Spanking on August 9th, 1993, according to the CalStar release.  To the best of my knowledge, 'Marital Strokes' was never included in any Moonglow North compilation but it was released in the US by CalStar combined with an unrelated movie called ‘The Cheating Housewife’.  ‘Marital Strokes’ features Cavern & Moonglow North regulars Alison Payne and Joe Stewart.  The movie is currently available on several video on demand services such as www.hotmovies.com.

The set up to the movie is very simple; Joe catches his schoolgirl sister-in-law, Alison, with a joint and he threatens to tell her sister.  Alison begs him not to and she says (with a smile on her face) “why don’t you spank me like you spank her”.  He immediately accepts that suggestion and, 75 seconds after the movie begins, she is over the back of a chair and the hand spanking continues.  After a minute or so of this her skirt comes off and he takes her over his knee.  Another couple of minutes of hand spanking follows, along with some erotic banter that seems out of place in the scenario, before her panties come down and the hand spanking continues.

Nine minutes into the movie, Joe has Alison lie on the couch and put her into the diaper position but the camera position is less than ideal.  Three more minutes of hand spanking follows before Joe decides that he isn’t having much effect so he tells Alison he is going to use “one of her sister’s toys’.  Alison suggests the “one with the strings” so Joe sends her upstairs to get it.  There is fade out before she returns in one of her sister’s outfits and carrying a long cane (with no strings attached).  Joe has her bend over a chair and 12 hard strokes follow, along with a brief glimpse of the cameraman’s hand in the edge of the frame.  Next, she kneels on the couch and Joe pulls down her panties before giving her another 12 strokes.  Then her bra comes off and she kneels on the chair for a third dozen.  Finally, she’s back of the couch for two last strokes.  The movie ends with Joe and Alison sitting on the couch and talking about future punishment sessions.

This is an early Cavern film and that shows.  There are technical issues; the set is sparse, the camera positions and framing are poor, the sound is sometimes muffled and there is some wind noise.  These problems are aggravated by the fact that the video tape had obviously started to demagnitize before it was converted to digital.  But the biggest problem is that those involved in making the movie don’t seem to have known what type of movie they wanted to make.  The title suggests a domestic discipline story but it starts out as more of a schoolgirl or father/daughter story and then it turns into more of an erotic discipline movie.  There are moments in this movie that are worth seeing but those involved would go on to make much better movies in the future.

 

Beaten Bimbos

 

‘Beaten Bimbos’ is a 58-minute movie made around 2002 that is available from several sources.  I first knew of it as a Moonglow North movie (Moonglow DVD catalogue number N14) but I later found that it was also released by 6666 Productions under the title ‘Spank It: Beaten Bimbos’.  The movie features Cavern & Moonglow North regulars Alison Payne and Joe Stewart along with Debbie who also appeared in the Moonglow North movies ‘Spy School’ (with Alison) and ‘Nursing Her Bottom’ both of which were filmed around the same time as ‘Beaten Bimbos’.  The movie is currently available on several video on demand services such as www.hotmovies.com.

The movie opens with Joe waiting to show a photo studio to potential leasee's Alison (in a short plaid skirt) and Debbie who are posing as models.  They arrive to tour the studio but Joe has to leave for another meeting so he leaves them alone to look around for themselves.  The rest of the movie takes place in one sparsely furnished room.  They begin searching through it and they find a trunk filled with costumes and Joe’s cache of straps, paddles and canes, and a stripper pole.  Debbie decides to try on a yellow nurse’s uniform while Alison continues searching.  Debbie finds a roll of cash in a pocket of the nurse’s uniform and Alison pockets some of the cash.  They find a portfolio of erotic photos and they are looking through them when Joe suddenly returns and catches them in the act.  He starts looking for the money and, when he can’t find it, he realizes that the girls have found it.  They still want to lease the studio so they agree to recreate some of what they have seen in the photographs as punishment for stealing the money.

The action starts with Debbie over Alison’s knee for a hand spanking then they trade places.  Eventually Joe decides that Alison’s spanking should continue with a tawse.  Debbie claims not to know how to use the tawse but she has no problem.  They trade positions again and Debbie’s spanking continues with the tawse.  Next is a leather paddle, same procedure. 

Joe decides that he is not satisfied with how the girls are punishing each other so he takes over.  He has Debbie lie on two pillows on the floor and he uses the leather paddle first and then the tawse.  Then the girls trade places again and Alison receives the same.  

The next session starts with Debbie bent over the chair for another round of the strap.  Part way through Joe has her remove the nurse’s uniform and then the strapping continues.  They trade places again and and there's more strapping; it’s all becoming just a little too repetitious by this time.  After a while, Alison’s skirt comes off too and then, about 40 minutes into the movie, its time for the cane.  Joe puts two chairs back-to back and has Debbie bend over them first.  I didn’t try to count the strokes but it seemed like 30 or so hard strokes over the course of 5 minutes.  Next, it’s Alison’s turn for more of 5 more minutes of the same.  There is a short blackout before Debbie is called back for another 3 minutes of the cane followed by the same for Alison.  The ending is abrupt and adds nothing to the movie.

This movie was a disappointment.  The punishments are hard but there is too much of the same.  It seemed like a 40-minute movie that had been stretched to an hour by making each scene longer.  The movie has its moments, but just not enough of them.  The technical work is decent but the sound is occasionally irritating.  The microphone picks up too much extraneous noise, including the camera operator breathing and the floor squeeking, and there is some distortion.  Overall, I was expecting better.
