Lisa Must be Caned

Lisa Must be Caned (1984)

I’m not sure which company produced “Lisa Must be Caned” but it is a 26-minute movie that was probably made in 1984.  The movie features Sophie Fennington who also appeared in the movie “The Caning of Flight Officer Fennington" that I reviewed last month.

Ms Fennington plays Lisa, a school girl (although she appears to be wearing a wedding ring) who has been misbehaving.  Her school has called her father, who never appears in the movie, and he authorizes her Uncle Bob to discipline her in any way he believes appropriate.  Uncle Bob is a believer is the cane and he has a selection on sitting the coffee table waiting for Lisa to arrive.  She appears before him wearing a white blouse and a pleated blue skirt.  He begins by taking her across his knee for an OTK hand spanking.  Part way through he stops to lift her skirt and lower her panties before continuing the hand spanking but he soon switches to a ping pong paddle.  In total, the OTK scene lasts about 5 minutes.  On conclusion of the OTK spanking he sends her to stand in the corner but he very quickly decides to continue her punishment.

He orders her to kneel on a chair and bend over the back of it so he can resume the hand spanking.  After nearly two minutes he decides to continue the spanking with his belt.  This scene ends with an abrupt blackout and cut to Lisa standing at attention in front of the fireplace.  He leaves her standing their while he watches TV (somewhere during this time she turns around but who worries about continuity).  When the program ends he orders her to undress to her panties and then he begins the OTK spanking again; first with his hand and then with the ping pong paddle.

After another abrupt cut its time finally for the cane.  Uncle Brian orders her to bend over a table and begins the caning.  The first dozen strokes or so are delivered at a leisurely pace but then he orders her to lie on the table and then the caning continues at a more rapid pace.  He stops to pull down her panties to check his handiwork but, after deciding the caning hasn’t been sufficient, he has her bend over the table again for another 15 or 20 strokes.  Except for the final stroke, this is caning doesn’t reach ‘Mood Pictures’ levels but it is a severe caning.  In the interview Ms Fennington gave near the end of her movie career, it was said that there were 70 or 80 strokes of the cane in total and I suspect that is probably accurate.  

I’ve read postings where “Lisa Must be Caned” is described as a ‘classic’.  I certainly wouldn’t go that far but I would say that it is a good movie that has some problems.  Some of the camera work and framing could be better but the biggest problem with this movie is the actor who plays Uncle Brian; I haven’t been able to find his screen name but he is a terrible actor even by spanking movie standards.  There is also some very corny dialogue that certainly isn’t helped by his wooden delivery.
