The
RGE/Lupus website is still up as I write this but it now says it will be closing
on Sept. 9, 2013. As I noted before,
some RGE/Lupus videos are available on ‘Video-On-Demand’ websites such as http://ct.vod.com/studio/2302/RGE-Films/?page_sort=rating&&&studio_id=2302
but “A Garden Party” is not one of them.
“A Garden
Party” was released in 2009 and it is one of the last Lupus videos. In 2009, RGE/Lupus began releasing the ‘Lupus
Dream’ series of ‘sex-and-spanking’ videos and, to me, “A Garden Party” seemed
to be part of the company’s transition from producing pure spanking videos to
producing sex-and-spanking videos.
“A Garden
Party” opens with a family and their guests, including a local Pharmacist,
having tea in the garden. The Mother is
concerned that her daughters will be tempted by the evil of masturbation but
the Pharmacist has a solution. He has
developed a cream that will eliminate the temptation. The
Mother approves of this approach and calls on the Pharmacist to apply the cream
to both of her daughters (in a long soft core scene). The Pharmacist discovers both girls are saved
and the Mother is horrified. Something
must be done so she calls for the cane.
Both girls are caned; first they are bent naked over a bench and caned
by their Mother then they are tied to the bench and caned by the Fiancée of one
of the girls.
While all
this is going on, the Father also has a word with the Pharmacist about his
problem and it turns out that the Pharmacist has a cream for the Father as well. The
Father decides to try this ‘Viagra cream’ with the Maid but the Mother catches
them which results in a caning for the Maid.
I watched this video when I first got it and I wasn’t impressed. I didn’t watch it again until I was preparing to write this review and I’m still not impressed. I’m not a big fan of sex-and-spanking movies in general, although this video really isn’t in that category, but its close enough that it doesn’t interest me. It is also missing the RGE/Lupus tongue-in-check humor that I like. We all know that we are watching the video to see the Princess take off her clothes and get a spanking and RGE/Lupus videos usual play with that in a ‘nudge, nudge, wink, wink’ style. This is completely missing from “A Garden Party”. This video takes itself too seriously for my taste and it ‘just isn’t any fun’. I can’t imagine I will be watching it again any time soon.
