The Fairy
Tale
Rigid East
(2002)
The RGE/Lupus
website will probably be closed by the time you read this (they have announced Sept.
1st, 2013 as the last day) but some videos may still available through the ‘Video-On-Demand’ websites such as http://ct.vod.com/studio/2302/RGE-Films/?page_sort=rating&&&studio_id=2302.
As the names
suggest, ‘The Fairy Tale’ and ‘Fairy Tale: The Magic Purse’ are two videos
based on a fairy tale theme. The older
of the two (Fairy Tale) was released in 2002.
It is set in a palace where a princess and her two friends are playing
(the three actresses are all much too old for the roles they are playing but let’s
not worry about that). They break a vase
in the course of their game but the Princess decides to blame a maid and
blackmail her into keeping the secret. The
Queen is furious when she learns the vase has been broken and she orders the Maid caned.
The lecherous Chamberlain (a stock character in the RGE fairy tale
videos) takes the Maid to the dungeon where she begs for mercy to no avail. The Chamberlain orders the Executioner to
undress her (off camera) and she is tied to a wooden post. The Executioner begins her caning but after
she receives about 30 strokes she reveals what the Princess has done.
The Chamberlain
takes the Maid back to the Queen so she can examine the marks of the
caning. Then he tells the Queen what the
Maid has revealed. The Queen orders that the Princess receive the
same punishment as the Maid so the Chamberlain takes the Princess to the
Dungeon. The Princess lifts her dress and
bends over but the Chamberlain orders her to completely undress which she does. Then he orders her to kneel on the platform
in front of the post. The Executioner ties
her to the post and then gives her 30 strokes of the cane. This caning seems hard and it is delivered at
a leisurely pace.
The Princess
is taken back to the Queen who compares the marks of her caning to the Maid’s. When the Queen is satisfied that the Princess
has received the same punishment she calls for her magic ring. The video ends with the Queen revealing
that she has the power to restore the broken vase so that the Princess’ attempt
to place the blame on the Maid was unnecessary.
I give my thoughts about this video at the end of the next post.
