Hotel Derriere

‘Hotel Derriere’ is a 77-minute long movie released by Kane International in 1991.  I don’t know of any distributor that is still selling this title.

‘Hotel Derriere’ is the first of at least 3 Kane International movies that is set in the fictional ‘Hotel Derriere’ in Brighton on the south coast of England.  Brighton may be best known to spanking movie aficionados as the real-life headquarters of ‘Spanking for Pleasure’ but this seaside resort town is a completely plausible setting for the king of adult vacations that might belong in a spanking movie.  The other two movies in the series are ‘Spanker’s Paradise’ and ‘The Rules of the Game’.  The later two movies were distributed in the US as ‘Spanker’s Paradise’ and ‘Spanker’s Paradise 2’ by Bizarre Video but both are now out of stock.  However, I have never found ‘Hotel Derriere’ in the Bizarre catalogue.

‘Hotel Derriere’ consists of three unrelated stories united only by the common setting and the narrator played by George Harrison-Marks (GHM).   The rest of the movie has a cast of seven, four men and three women, who play three couples and the desk clerk.  According to SpankingWiki.com, the cast includes Suzi Martell who is well known for the Birchington Manor series from Strictly English, Sara Benachour who also appeared in the several other Kane movies and the filmed versions of five Kane parties, most of them held after GHM’s death and Tracey Gibb, a British ‘page 3 girl’ and hard-core porn actress.  In fact, only Gibb’s name appears in the credits but it isn’t unusual for adult movie performers to use several names over the course of a career and the other two women in this movie certainly look like Benachour and Martel.

In the first of the three stories, a young man picks up a sexy redhead on the boardwalk, and they're quickly past the hotel desk clerk into a room, where the girl wants to be spanked as a prelude to other business. The guy is reluctant and claims inexperience.  He spanks her OTK on the bed on her jeans for the better part of 10 minutes.  It is an interesting sequence but the dialogue does become repetitive.  She has a martinet handy and he takes down her jeans for a mild whipping.  Eventually her panties and sweater come off and he finds a leather paddle buried in the bed covers.  She writhers all over the bed throughout the punishment which certainly does make the scene worth watching but she complains that it isn’t hard enough so she gives him a cane that is hanging above the bed.  She wants 12 strokes and he delivers them, slowly and with increasing force.  This story fills the first 25 minutes of the movie.

After a very brief introduction by GHM the next couple appear at the front desk to check in.  In their room they change into role-playing outfits -- he in a cap-and-gown, and she in schoolgirl outfit complete with pigtails.  She appears before the Headmaster for breaking school rules and she agrees to take a "private" caning in his room in order to keep the incident from her parents.  But, before she receives her caning, he decides to give her a few strokes martinet, and then a hand spanking as her clothes begin to come off.  After the spanking he has her do some exercises on the bed which degenerates into the couple wrestling on the bed.  Now it’s time for the cane and some of the strokes seem quite hard, although her reaction could just be good acting.  After one particularly hard stroke she begins to fight back and eventually she subdues him, ties his hands together with hid tie, pulls down his pants and starts to cane him.  This segment runs about 25 minutes.

The next couple are a jewelry salesman and a woman looking to buy a ring for her husband’s birthday.  He has a ring that she likes but the price is more than she expected so they make an agreement.  She knows he likes to spank so she offers an opportunity for him to demonstrate his prowess for a reduction in the price.  He comes to her room with champagne and spanking implements, intent on negotiating a price for the ring, finding her waiting on the bed in very seductive clothing, including bottomless pantyhose.  He starts up a hand spanking and then moves on to a martinet and a very thin tawse ("our Scottish friend" as he calls it), and finally the cane, where she can earn 50 pounds off the asking price for each cane stroke she can take.  Ten are enough for her, fairly hard on the bare bottom poking out of the pantyhose and she's not inclined to accept his offer to "go lower".  The story ends with the suggestion that he might stay the night in return for a further reduction in price.  This story only lasts about 15 minutes and it is probably the weakest of the three.  It also suffers from poor lighting in some of the scenes.

In a short closing scene that only lasts about 3 minutes, we learn that the redhead from the first story is actually the hotel maid and the desk clerk finds her in one of the rooms with a guest.  He pulls her into a vacant room and she gets another bare-bottom spanking.  It seems as though this short scene was added just to give the actor playing the 'desk clerk' something to do.

 

Finally, GHM signs off, with a suggestion that there will be more stories emanating from this hotel.  In fact there will be two more movies ‘Spanker’s Paradise’ and ‘The Rules of the Game’.

It is no secret that I'm a fan of GHM's spanking movies during both his Janus ans Kane days and this one is a favorite of mine.  I particularly like the fact that is is strictly about erotic spanking with no attempt at creating some supposedly 'real life' scenario like a naughty schoolgirl but, if that's what you like then this movie might not be for you.
