‘Sally’s First Lesson’ is a 59-minute movie released by
Blushes probably very early in 1983.
An announcement in Blushes issue 4 (above) reads in part “This second hour-long
movie from Blushes …” which confirms reports I’ve seen on the web that ‘Sally’s
First Lesson’ is the second Blushes movie.
That issue of Blushes also included a follow up story “Sally:
Further Lessons” but this was never made into a movie. To the best of my knowledge ‘Sally’s First
Lesson’ is not currently available for purchase. There is ample evidence that ‘Sally’s First
Lesson’ was released by CalStar but I can’t find it on any of the CalStar
Direct video-on-demand sites although a number of other Blushes movies are
available. Three clips, comprising about
half of the movie, are available on www.clips4sale.com and the full movie does
regularly appear on some of the video spanking boards but seldom under its own
name (it drives me crazy when movies are posted under some meaningless file
name but I can understand why it is done).
‘Sally’s First Lesson’ opens with a red city bus pulling up
to a bus stop where Sally Clarke gets off and walks across the street into an
empty office.
She starts up the stairs
to the sounds of a woman crying.
She
knocks on a door and enters a room where a school master, played by an actor
who also appears in the Blushes’ movie ‘Big Girls Do Cry’, is in the process of
caning the bare bottom of another student (Angela, although I only know that from the videotape box) who is bent over a desk.
The school master tells Sally to wait in
another room and he returns to the caning.
After several more strokes he has Angela stand with her hands on her head
while he removes her skirt then he tells her to bend back over the desk and her
caning continues.
Three more strokes
then he tells her to stand and he has her remove her blouse.
A dozen more strokes follow and then her
panties come completely off.
A dozen
more strokes follow before he has her turn to face him again and hold out her
hand.
He gives her a few strokes, and a
flinch earns her a couple more, before sending her to wait in an adjoining
room.
This sequence last until the
12-minute mark of the movie.
Sally has been listening to all of this through the door.
The school master calls her back into the
main room and has her sit at the desk he has been using for the caning.
He tells her that she has been sent to him
because she has failed several courses and his job is to help her improve her
performance by ensuring that she learns to concentrate on her work.
It’s clear from her expression that she
understands what this means.
He starts
by asking her name and she replies ‘My name is Sally Clarke’.
He tells her that she made three errors in
her response.
First, he wants her to call
him Sir.
Second, he wants her to stand
when she replies to him.
Finally, to
remind her of the importance of a certain part of her anatomy to his process,
he wants her to pull down her panties whenever she answers him.
He has her sit down and he asks his question
again.
This time she stands before
answering, and she addresses him as Sir but she makes one mistake so he has her
pull her panties down.
He warns her that
any further mistakes will require corrective action.
Another question, another mistake and this
time she is over the desk for a hand spanking.
The rest of the movie consists of Sally being questioned and
then being bent over the desk with panties down for a hand spanking. She constantly fails to answers his questions
and matters slowly escalate. Her fondles
her bottom at every opportunity. She
must face him, skirt up and panties down, while he lectures her on various topics. It becomes apparent
that the Master has complete control and he is tormenting Sally just because he
can. With time, he has her over his knee
rather than over the desk and, eventually she is standing against the
wall. Another question, another failure
and this time he orders her to partially undress and kneel on the chair while
he picks up the cane. He gives her
about 3 dozen strokes of the cane but I found the caning disappointing because
of the cramped set and poor camera positions.
After the caning, he has her dress and she leaves. Once she’s gone, he turns his attention back
to the naked blonde who has been waiting in the next room.
Time has not been kind to this movie.
It was made in 1982 but I don’t think it was
digitized until about 2006.
By that time
the tape was badly degraded. The audio is very poor through most of the
movie, the video looks faded and there is interference along the top and bottom
of the frame.
The box for the original video tape release (above) shows much sharper and crisper images which are probably closer to the original look than the digitized version of the surviving tapes. But there are other
problems.
Unlike ‘Half Term Punishments’,
which had a large cast (8) and an expansive set, ‘Sally’s First Lesson’ has a
small cast and most of it is set in one cramped room.
It seems claustrophobic and it suffers because
of that.
I also found this movie
repetitious and I kept thinking of the lost opportunities.
I’m glad I was able to find ‘Sally’s First
Lesson’ and watch it but I was disappointed and I kept thinking of how much
better it could have been.
