“Jane and the Tutor” is a 26-minute movie released by Roue in late 1980 or early 1981. The release was announced in Roue 13.
This movie was once available from Roue by mail or at the RAM Books
store in London but it is not currently available through the Roue website (www.roue.com)
or any of the CalStar Direct websites like www.hotmovies.com.
“Jane and
the Tutor” was the first movie released by Roue.
The release was announced in Roue 13 in early
1981 and the announcement was repeated in Roue 14, 15 and 17.
Roue 13 is the earliest issue of Roue I have
ever seen so I can’t be absolutely certain the release wasn’t announced earlier
but I have seen other references that describe this movie as being announced in
Roue 13.
UPDATE
(Feb 2022): I just got a look at a copy of Roue 10 and the ad shown
above appears on page 3 of that issue so Jane and the Tutor may be older than I had originally thought. I would now say that it was
probably released in early to mid-1980.
The movie
opens with a producer’s card reading “A Roue Production” but there is no title
card.
This cuts to the sound of a doorbell
(which sounds like a telephone) and a man (Roue editor Alan Bell) walking to
open the door.
A tall dark-haired woman named
Jane enters and the two go into a siting room with very distinctive yellow and
black curtains.
The man reads a letter
that saying that the woman’s parents have agreed that Jane should spend the
weekend with the tutor and that he may use whatever methods are necessary to
improve her academic performance.
He has
her take off her white panties and put on standard school uniform underwear
while he picks up and tests a cane.
The
print I have is disrupted by static (I don't think a scene is missing at
this point but I'm not sure) and, when the picture returns, Jane is
changing into a school uniform.
By the
6-minute mark of the movie she is in her school uniform and he has donned an
academic gown.
He has her kneel on a
stool and lift her skirt.
He tells her
to lower her panties every time he says either knickers or down he has her piull down her panties and, when she
does, he gives her a slap with what look like a ruler (the picture quality
leaves a lot to be desired).
This continues
sequence continues until about the 10-minute mark then he moves to an arm chair
and takes her over his knee for an OTK spanking while she recites a simple poem
about spanking several times.
This takes
about 4 minutes.
Next, he
has her back over the stool with her skirt up and panties down while he works
his way through one of her assignments.
He picks up a leather strap and straps her for every mistake he
discovers.
I didn’t try to count the
strokes but he must have given her close to 50 before he tells her to stand,
just before the 20-minute mark.
He has
her sit on the stool and he gives her an assignment to take down and she gets
her hand strapped or her bottom smacked for each mistake.
When she has her assignment, he sends her off
to her room but she comes down a moment later in her nightgown for her final
lesson.
He bends her over the back of his
arm chair and gives her 6 HARD strokes of the cane then he sends her back to is
room.
Unfortunately, the video quality during
this scene has deteriorated so badly that it is almost unwatchable.
“Jane and
the Tutor” is obviously an early effort at making a spanking video.
There are several awkward edits and the
lighting is poor but time has not been kind to this tape and the quality has
deteriorated badly.
In some places there is
nothing left but static.
That’s a shame
because this movie would be worth watching if you could see all of it.
I don’t know where the movie can be purchased.
It is one of three early Roue movies that
have disappeared from the Roue catalogue and I suspect that may be related to
the management issues that disrupted the publication of the magazine in the
later part of 1982.
It does occasionally
appear on the various spanking boards and it is easily recognizable by the distinctive
yellow and black curtains in the drawing room.
It’s worth a look if you find it but it can be hard to watch.
