“It’s So Embarrassing”
was the third Red Stripe movie. It was
probably released in 1995 and it was eventually given Red Stripe catalogue
number RS-113. The movie is 68 minutes
long. Red Stripe movies can usually be
recognized by their theme music and common style of title cards but these
wouldn’t become standardized until the fourth Red Stripe movie. All but about a dozen of the Red Stripe
movies are currently available through the Roue website and this movie is
available as a ‘Red Stripe Original’ at http://www.roue.com/red-stripe-original-/203-its-so-embarrassing.html.
The movie
opens with Gary and Jackie siting in their living room as their daughter Joanne
walks in and sits down.
Her father asks
her ‘what’s wrong with you’ and she replies that she has ‘just been spanked’.
She explains why but her words are difficult
to understand although it seems that neither of her parents have done something, but what they have done is
unintelligible.
From some later comments
made by her teacher, I understand that Joanne's parents failed to attend a parent’s
meeting at the school and Joanne was punished because her teacher believes that
she kept the meeting secret from her parents.
The scene quickly shifts to a short flashback of Joanne being spanked by
her teacher.
Back in the living room her
father says that she didn’t tell them about the meeting but Joanne replies that
she did tell her mother and her mother admits that she did.
Gary tells his wife that ‘you know what this
means’ and she replies ‘I suppose so’.
She
tells her daughter that ‘she had better go out for a while’ but Gary says ‘No’
and that he wants her to 'see this’.
Gary
also tells his wife to phone Miss Perkins and tell her that she is going
to be spanked for her error.
Miss Perkins replies that she wants to witness
Jackie’s punishment and Gary agrees to this request.
Gary tells Jackie that she should change into
the appropriate attire for her punishment and she leaves to change.
This has all taken just under 10 minutes.
In the
bedroom, Jackie opens the door of a closet that contains two canes and a black
dress.
She puts on the dress, collects the
canes and an assortment of other spanking implements and
returns downstairs just as Miss Perkins arrives.
After some discussion, Gary takes Jackie over
his knee for a hand spanking, first with her dress up and later with her
panties down.
The hand spanking continues
until the 21-minute mark of the movie.
A hair brush
comes next and she goes back over her knee for most of it but he has her stand
for the final eighteen. Afterward he has
her move so Miss Perkins can examine the results of his work. He tells her that he is going to cane her
next but before that he has her bend over the chair for a baker’s dozen swats with
a small leather paddle. The hair brush
and the paddle take just over 10 minutes and there are a couple of easily noticeable
editing errors in the later part of this section of the movie.
Gary has Jackie
fix her dress and panties and then he sends her to select one of the canes.
Once he has a cane, he has her stand in the middle
of the room and touch her toes.
He lifts
her dress and the caning begins.
After
four strokes he adjusts her panties to expose bare skin and he re-positions her
with her hands on her knees.
Two more
strokes and her panties come down.
Five more
strokes, then he has her kneel over the back of a chair for another six
strokes.
Now, he has her turn the chair around
and bend over with her hands on the seat for seven strokes.
The strokes are hard but, by this time, his constant
stopping for inane comments or to reposition her is starting to make the scene
drag.
The next seven strokes are
delivered with her touching her toes again and he has her stand for the final very
hard stroke.
Finally, he has her pull up
her panties and stand in the corner.
Every change in position is accompanied by some pointless and repetitive dialogue. In
total, 32 strokes of the cane take over 20 minutes and that is just too
long.
As soon as I saw Miss
Perkins arrive to witness Jackie’s punishment, I was expecting that she
would eventually end up paying the price for Joanne’s spanking.
I was looking forward to that in the
beginning but my enthusiasm for this disappeared as Jackie’s caning dragged on and
on.
Miss Perkins announces that she is satisfied with the punishment and starts to leave but, as I had expected, Gary stops her to point out that she had punished Joanne without his permission. He
does not accept her claim that this is normal practice and he gives her the choice of accepting his punishment,
with his daughter watching, or he will call her head mistress.
Of course, she decides to accept his
punishment.
Her punishment follows the
same pattern as Jackie’s only it doesn't drag on as long.
She starts out
over his knee for a hand spanking.
He
lifts her skirt so he can continue the spanking but he soon has her bent over
the chair for a different leather strap than he had used on Jackie.
Her panties come down after six swats of the
strap and another eight follow.
Next
come twelve strokes of the cane but these turn into 15 by the time he is
finished.
These strokes are also quite
hard and, while they are delivered with less stalling than Jackie’s caning, they
are still dragged out unnecessarily which has become quite irritating by this
point.
Miss Perkin’s punishment has
taken barely 10 minutes but that’s not the end of the movie.
Joanne starts to get a little ‘cheeky’ so she
is soon over her father’s knee for a hand spanking.
Her panties are soon down for the last of her
spanking then she too is bent over the chair for a dozen hard licks of a
leather strap.
The movie ends with all
three women standing facing the wall with their skirts up and their panties
down.
This movie
began well but it simply dragged on much too long; it should have been at least
10, and maybe 15 minutes shorter.
There are
a few technical issues, including inadequate lighting, poor framing, some very
awkward edits and a camera being in-frame in some of the scenes but Ivor was
learning how to make a movie.
I would
love to try to edit this movie to make it tighter but that would probably be
impossible without access to the raw footage.
It a shame, this had the makings of a very good movie.
