Molly's Hundred (and 105 Strokes)

 

'Molly’s Hundred’ is a 35-1/2 minute movie made by Moonglow North (catalogue number N15) in 2002.  This movie is available on various video on demand sites such as www.hotmovies.com. 

The Moonglow on-line catalogue describes “Molly’s Hundred” as:

Alison shows her steel in this one; she takes a hundred and five strokes of the cane. Nothing is faked - she counts each and every one. For what it's worth, the story line is simple. She plays Molly, a gangster's moll, who is caught in bed with one of the gangster's heavies. He escapes before he can be identified and she refuses to say who he was. The gangster soundly paddles her backside, but she still refuses to tell. He tells her that she will get 100 strokes of the cane after lunch if she doesn't say. But after lunch she is still adamant and he carries out his threat. It is only at the 105th stroke that she gives in!

‘105 Strokes’ is a 57-minute long alternate cut of ‘Molly’s Hundred’ that was released by 6666 Productions; I haven’t been able to find the date of release.  This version is also available on various video on demand sites such as www.hotmovies.com.  ‘105 Strokes’ starts with the 35-1/2 minutes of ‘Molly’s Hundred’ but that is followed by another 20+ minutes of alternate camera angles and some ‘behind the scenes’ footage   There is a bootleg version of ‘105 Strokes’ circulating around the various spanking forums but it is missing the first 7 minutes; it starts at the fourth stroke of the cane.  A rough cut of the missing 7 minutes is shown at the beginning of the extra footage but the deletion of the first 7 minutes makes the story, such as it is, difficult to follow.

‘Molly’s Hundred’ (and ‘105 Strokes’) features Cavern/Moonglow North regulars Joe Stewart as a mob boss who is only called 'Boss', Alison Payne as Molly, his wife/girlfriend and one other unidentified man as mob member Giuseppe.  The story is quite simple, Joe knows that Alison is cheating on him and he wants to know who her lover is, she won’t tell him so he’s going to beat it out of her.

The movie starts with Molly (Alison), in a sheer magenta dress, returning home and being confronted by her husband (Joe) who demands to know where she has been.  There are very few preliminaries and she is soon across his knee within a minute of the movie’s opening.  The hand spanking lasts about 2 minutes then he gets a rubber paddle and takes her back over his knee.   This paddling also lasts about 2 minutes and it leaves her bottom quite red.  She still won’t tell him where she has been and he has a luncheon appointment so he tells her that he is going to give her 100 strokes of the cane when he returns.  He sends her away and gives her one final swat as she leaves.

After a brief cut, a caning bench and a selection of canes are already set out ready for the 100 strokes.  Alison walks in wearing a different dress and waits by the fireplace.  Joe arrives and gives her one last chance to tell him where she has been.  She won’t, so the caning begins.  She counts the strokes and, after the first 25, an unseen male character called Giuseppe briefly enters.  After he leaves Joe tells Molly to strip and she is naked for the rest of her caning.

She goes back over the bench, but she is not restrained, and her caning continues.  Another 25 hard strokes are delivered before Joe decides that she is wiggling around too much so he decides to restrain her but Giuseppe returns before he does.  Once she is securely strapped in place the caning continues but after a few strokes Joe tells Giuseppe to take over.  The heard but never seen Giuseppe delivers 10 strokes, bring the total so far to 65, and then Joe is back for a few more strokes.  Joe and Giuseppe alternate through the rest of the caning which is obviously taking a toll but Alison is remarkably resilient even though the strokes seem to get harder toward the end.  Joe steps back in for a final five strokes, bring the total to 105.  The plot of a spanking movie shouldn’t be over analyzed but the ending of ‘Molly’s Hundred’ is particularly weak (I would disclose the final plot ‘twist’).  The movie ends with Molly left alone and struggling to free herself from the straps.

I think this movie attracted a lot of attention when it was first released but I had already seen the Mood Pictures film ‘Martial Law’, which was made a year later, before I first watched ‘Molly’s Hundred’.  ‘Martial Law’ also features a 100-stroke caning but that caning was even harder than his one and the actress in ‘Martial Law’ (Kate Lust) was clearly dazed by the end of her ordeal.  Two cameras were used in the filming of 'Molly's Hundred' but there is a problem with the aperture setting of the one that is  focused on Alison's face.  There are a few interesting bits in the extra footage, particularly where Joe and the director discuss the wrap around effect of a rattan cane, but they aren’t something you would ever want to watch more than once.  Never the less, this is a movie that is worth seeing.

Humiliated Neighbours

 

‘Humiliated Neighbors’ is a 65-minute movie made by Moonglow North in 2005 according to the Moonglow on-line DVD catalogue.  The movie is currently available on a number of video on demand sites including www.hotmovies.com.  It features Cavern/Moonglow North regulars Alison Payne and Joe Stewart along with a woman identified as Jane (or Janie) in the Moonglow Girls Directory and a brief appearance by an unidentified man.  The movie appears to have been made at the same time as ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’ (aka ‘The Caning Caretaker’) because the two movies share the same cast and setting along with some of the same wardrobe.  Alison’s rose top and white skirt is particularly noticeable but, if you look closely, you will see she is wearing different shoes (the style is similar but the color is different).

The Moonglow on-line DVD catalogue describes ‘Humiliated Neighbors’ as:

This is the raunchiest Moonglow North video yet. When friends Alison and Jane move into a semi-detached house, Alison goes around to meet her new neighbour, Joe. While he is in the toilet, she steals his credit card and the girls go a £2,000 spending binge that evening. Big mistake! Joe is a firm believer in corporal punishment and more than happy to exploit his new found power over the girls. Next morning, he summons Alison to his house for a spanking, a caning and more than a bit of erotic play. But of course she blames Jane, who is summoned the next day. The activities with Jane become ever more torrid that the previous day. But she is also honoured with a glowing red bottom and a neat selection of stripes across her bottom before she returns home. Jane has passed the blame back to Alison, who is called round again the next day for further treatment. Of course she has mixed feelings as Joe’s blend of punishment and pleasure is a new and exotic element to her life. How much more pleasure/pain can her body take?

The movie takes place over 4 days.  Day One opens with Alison having a drink with her new neighbor, Joe, in his living room.  He leaves the room for a moment and, while he’s away, she finds his wallet and steals his credit card.  When he returns, she tells him that she is tired from the move and she will see him tomorrow. 

She returns on Day Two and he tells her he has a house warming present for her (we know what he’s planning to warm don’t we).  He tells her to wait on the couch while he goes to get it and he returns with a selection of canes.  She looks perplexed and that’s when he tells her that he has discovered her theft.  She objects to his plan but relents when he threatens to call the police.  He has her bend over the couch but, before he starts, she asks if they can’t do something ‘more’.  Joe understands what she has in mind and he lifts her top.  She isn’t wearing a bra but he isn’t to be diverted from his purpose.  He tells her to get back down and he goes straight to work with the cane.  He gives her a few strokes before pulling down her pants, but just for a moment then he has her pull them back up before continuing with her caning.  After about a dozen strokes her pants come down again for another dozen which are preceded by a brief hand spanking.  He is definitely ‘hands on’ through the session and towards the end she returns to her earlier suggestion of sex in place of caning and she ends Day Two naked on the couch at about the 15-minute mark of the movie.

Day Three begins with Jane’s first appearance.  She immediately sees the straps, paddles and canes lying on the floor and he tells her that they are what she is going to get for spending his money.   The furniture has been rearranged overnight so he sits in the chair that is now where the couch had been and pulls her across his knee.  This session follows the usual sequence beginning with a hand spanking that last long enough to be tedious.  After almost 15 minutes, he has her kneel on the chair and he moves on to a large leather strap but the camera is poorly positioned for this scene.  As he did with Alison in the earlier scene, he asks her if she would prefer sex to the strapping and, when she says yes, he calls in a previously unseen man (where did he come from) and the strapping turns into a two-minute hardcore scene.  After that brief detour, Joe sends the unknown man ‘back to the cupboard where he belongs’ (?) and he continues her punishment with a narrow leather strap.  Next, he puts her in the chair in the diaper position for the school paddle, an implement I would like to see more often.  The short session with this paddle was followed by a longer session with a leather strap and then the return of the school paddle for a slightly loner session.  Finally, she bends over the chair for the cane.  It breaks on the first stroke but he has more.  The replacement breaks on the fourth stroke but he still has more.  She receives a total of 25 strokes and one wild backhand stroke leaves an ugly welt on her thigh.  Day Three ends with Jane being sent off for another unseen session with ‘Jim’, I presume this is the man who appeared earlier.  This segment has lasted about 40 minutes.

Day Four brings the return of Alison wearing the same rose top and white skirt that she wore in the final segment of ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’.  But this is new footage; the TV was turned on in ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’ but it is turned off in this movie.  Joe starts with her over the arm of the chair for his favorite wide leather strap which applies with a will in a lengthy strapping.  Afterward he has her remove her skirt and sit in the chair, legs apart, for a session a leather slapper (I won’t include a screencap because I don’t know how Blogger would respond).  There is no cane for Alison and he sends her away after the slapper.  This segment only lasts about 10 minutes.

This movie certainly has its moments.  The technical work is good aside from a couple of rough cuts and some of the same lighting problems that occurred in ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’.  I think the movie would have benefited from a brief scene at the end of Day One showing Alison and Jane setting off on their shopping spree which would help explain Jane’s appearance at the beginning of Day Three but that isn’t a serious problem.   This movie was obviously filmed at the same time as ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’ and it is one of the last movies made by Alison Payne.  As the catalogue says, this is a much raunchier movie than anything Moonglow North had released until then.  The question of sex in a spanking movie will often start a vigorous debate but I want to review 'Whack, Oh!' and 'Office Pokes' and I will leave that question for then.

A Chance of a Lifetime

 

‘A Chance of a Lifetime’ is a 56-minute movie made by Cavern Spanking on January 5, 2005 according to the disclosure on the CalStar release.  A 40 minute version of the movie was released by Moonglow North as the first segment of ‘The Caning Caretaker’ (N21).  That segment, which is also called ‘The Caning Caretaker’, is missing the first few minutes and the final 12 minutes with Alison Payne.  ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’ was released by CalStar in the US and that release gives a production date of January 5, 2005.  ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’ is currently available on several video on demand sites such as www.hotmovies.com. 

This movie features Cavern/Moonglow North regulars Alison Payne and with Joe Stewart along with a woman identified as Jane (or Janie) on the Moonglow girls directory.  There is also a very brief appearance by another man that I don’t recognize.  This movie appears to have been made at the same time as the Moonglow North movie ‘Humiliated Neighbours’ (N12).  But, despite the fact that they share the same cast, sets and wardrobe, there are obvious differences between ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’ and ‘Humiliated Neighbours’ which makes it clear that they were always intended to be separate movies.  My plan is to review ‘Humiliated Neighbours’ next but plans sometimes go awry.

Joe is siting in the living room as Sarah (Jane) and Lisa (Alison) are heading out for an evening

 at the pub.  It isn’t clear why Joe is in the apartment but we later find out that he is a friend of Sarah’s husband who is working on an offshore oil rig.  Instead of a pub the girls go to the apartment of a friend and Lisa agrees to leave Sarah and her friend alone for an hour.  Back at home, Joe finds Sarah’s cell phone on the couch and promptly starts snooping through it.   He finds an email from Sarah’s friend asking if she can come over while her husband is at work.  Joe immediately sees an opportunity and settles down to wait for the girls to get home.

When they return home, Joe presses them to find out where they have been and he soon pulls out Sarah’s phone and shows them the email (the lighting in this scene could have been better).  He tells Sarah that he won’t tell her husband if the two girls let him watch them spank each other.  After some argument, Lisa ends up across Sarah’s knee and the spankings begin.  After a rather mild spanking, it’s ‘change around time’ and Lisa gives Sarah a longer and harder spanking than she had received.  When Sarah’s spanking is finished, at about the 13-minute mark of the movie, Joe sends Lisa home telling her he will deal with her tomorrow but Jane remains behind for a private session with Joe.

Once Lisa leaves Joe tells Sarah that he has a surprise for her and he pulls a leather paddle out for under the sofa cushion.  He has her bend over a chair and he gives her a lengthy strapping of over 70 swats then he sends he to gets his equipment.  It’s not clear why she would know where to find the ‘equipment’ but she does and, after a cut, she returns wearing only pair of panties.  He has her on the couch, first lying on her back then lying across the arm rest, and he gives her nearly 50 firm swats with a wooden paddle (unfortunately, the lighting is still a problem).  Next, she’s across his knee for a short session with a leather slapper.

He has her change position again, back across the arm rest of he couch, and this time he use a round
leather paddle that looks like a oversized ping pong paddle.  After close to 20 swats he switches to a leather tawse for a final dozen.  This has been a long session of straps and paddles; it has lasted nearly 20 minutes and her backside certainly shows the effect.  Afterward he has her stand with her hands behind her head in the screencap I see every time this movie is discussed (above).  But her punishment isn’t over yet.  Joe brings out a kitchen chair and ‘his favorite friend’, a heavy cane.  She bends over the chair and he gives her 15 strokes before moving her to lean against the wall for the final 15 (or so) which end with a flurry of quick strokes.  This is a hard caning and a few of the strokes look particularly nasty.  The actress seems to be close to the point of quitting by the end and after one outburst of profanity she talks about killing someone, but it isn’t clear who.  There are a final few strokes and Sarah's entire solo punishment has lasted nearly 30 minutes.

The final 12 minutes is set the next day.  Lisa arrives in a rose-colored top and white skirt and Joe is waiting for her with his ‘friend’, a wide, well-used leather strap.  He has her kneel on an arm chair and starts with a hand spanking.  Now it’s time for his friend and he delivers a long flurry of fast slaps on her bottom.  Eventually he moves her, first to lean against the wall and then to stand upright.  He continues strapping her in both positions.  Finally, he has her back leaning on the armchair for one last flurry of swats before he sends her away telling her that he wants to see her again in a week.  This strapping lasts 10 minutes and I couldn’t even begin to count the number.

I like this movie.  The punishments are more intense than most British (or American) spanking movies and Sarah’s caning is about as much as I would want to see.  If you’ve read my past reviews of Mood Pictures films you will know that I find them to be too much; to me they go beyond discipline and approach the level of sadism which doesn’t interest me.  ‘A Chance of a Lifetime’ stops short of crossing that line but it is getting close to it.  The lighting during Sarah’s punishment is a problem.  From the shadows in some scenes it looks like they were using room lighting plus one movie light and they needed more.  Aside from that, it is a movie that is well worth seeing.
