‘Cadet Adventures’ is a 59-minute long movie made by Cavern
Spanking (catalogue number 10) in 1993.
I don’t know how it was originally distributed in the UK but it was
eventually available from the Cavern Spanking on-line store which operated from
2004 through 2016. It was released by
Moonglow North under the name ‘Thawed Bottoms’ (N18). The Moonglow on-line catalogue (available
through the Internet Wayback Machine) gives that date of release as 1994 even though
Moonglow North wasn’t created until 1997 (the CalStar version gives December 15,
1993 as the date of production). In the
US, it was renamed ‘Training Officer’ and released as part of their English Discipline
Series. The CalStar release is currently
available from several video on demand services such as www.hotmovies.com.
‘Cadet Adventures’ features Joe Stewart, Alison Payne (and I just updated
her filmography) as Kelly and Janine, who also appeared in the Cavern films “Beating
at Cards’ and ‘C.P. Administration 2’ and the Moonglow films ‘Count Spankula’,
‘Wayward Wives’ and ‘Wrens in Trouble’, as Sharon. The description of this movie on the Moonglow
on-line store included the following:
“… this is one of the more interesting Moonglow
North titles. A cottage was rented deep in the Pennine Hills in Northern
England for the shoot. In good British tradition, the whole area was snowed in
just as the crew arrived. In good Moonglow North tradition, they made the best
of the situation.
At one point, both girls are spanked in two foot of
snow although, not surprisingly, it is quite a short scene. Anyway, the theme
is of two venture leaders sent on a leadership course for winter training. They
are shocked to discover the strict regime that has been designed for them, with
strict consequences if they transgress the strict rules. Soon their bottoms
glow red, which in some ways is no bad thing considering how cold they become
during the exercises.”
The movie begins with Kelly and Sharon arriving late at a
snowy cadet training camp and they report to training officer Joe Stewart who
is played by a Cavern movies regular. They
settle in but he soon catches them smoking on their beds. The girls are ordered from their bunks
wearing only very thin slips with panties but no bras. He takes Kelly over his knee and starts with a
hand spanking, pausing only to pull down panties. Janine is next and she receives the same treatment
although her spanking doesn’t seem to be as hard. The session continues with Kelly knelling on
the couch for 12 strokes of a riding crop.
Sharon receives the same but in this case her punishment seems just as
hard as Kelly’s.
The outdoor scene mentioned in the description begins just
before the 23-minute mark of the movie.
They are conducting a map reading exercise and they stop for a cigarette. Of course, their training officer catches
them and he administers a bare bottom hand spanking outdoors. This scene only lasts about 6 minutes in
total. Afterward, he takes them back to the cabin and orders them to change
into their school uniforms and then report to the kitchen. Their skirts don’t stay on for long and they are
soon over his knee again for another hand spanking; Kelly first and then Sharon. In total, these two spankings last almost 9
minutes. Next, he has Sharon kneel on the
chair and he brings out a large strap and delivers 13 moderate strokes. 
The cane follows a very abrupt edit and she
receives 8 hard strokes. It appears that
more were intended but the strokes were obviously harder than the actress had
anticipated. Kelly is next and her
punishment skips the strap and goes straight to the cane. The
sixth stoke is particularly hard and there is a brief break before her caning
resumes. Another 6 strokes follow and
the promise of more leads the two girls to begin to turn on each other. After a brief argument Sharon is ordered to
return to the chair for another 6 strokes but further insolence from Kelly
leads to a change of plans and she is ordered to lean on the wall for the extra
6 strokes. There is an interesting
interaction following the second stroke which leads to a brief burst of
laughter from all involved. The session
ends with an additional 2 strokes for each bringing the total to 20 for Kelly
and 10 for Sharon.
This movie features some of the hardest canings I’ve seen
outside of a Mood/Elite movie and thereare a few looks near the end that suggest
that limits were being approached. The technical
work is reasonably good but the camera positions are uninspired and there are a couple of awkward edits. Overall,
this movie is well worth seeing.
