In my review of ‘Naughty Nieces 1 & 2’ that I posted in
April 2019 I included a short of list of movies from Imprint Productions and I
updated that list in February 2020. I
have learned quite a bit about Imprint in the last few months so it’s time to
expand on that original list.
I spent some time searching through public records databases,
which is every bit as dull as it sounds, but I stumbled across a bit of
information that provided a breakthrough.
It was a listing for a Jack N. Sunderland of California. If you ever read the legal disclaimers at
the beginning of a CalStar movie then you may recognize that name from a card
like the one at the left. A series of businesses were associated with Mr. Sunderland
including Imprint Productions, California Star Productions, California Star
Direct (the video on-line part of CalStar) and Intercoastal Commodities Inc.
and all of those business had the same business address. That led me to the realization that ‘Imprint
Productions’ was part of the CalStar group. 
Soon after that I discovered a series of compilation tapes
released by CalStar. There were 9 in total
released over a period of 11 years starting with ‘Spanking Video 1’ in 1986 and
ending with ‘Spanking Video 9’ in 1996 but only the first two include an explicit mention of 'Imprint Productions'. I have included a list of the segments of the first three Spanking Videos below. By Spanking Video 4 it no longer appears that CalStar was promoting the videos as Imprint Productions and two segments of Spanking Video 4 retain the title cards from the Kane International vidoes 'The Audition' and 'Kane Kandid Kamera'.

These tapes allowed me to build the list of ‘Imprint
Production’ movies that is below but this list is still a work in progress. Where I can, I have identified how the movie
was released by CalStar, either as part of the American Spanking Classics
series (ASC) or the English Spanking Classics series (ESC). I have also identified the producer where I
can.

So, what I believe at the moment is that Imprint Productions
was a part of the CalStar group that commissioned producers in the US and the
UK to make spanking movies for distribution (and sometimes exclusive
distribution) by Cal Star as part of either its American Spanking Classics or
the English Spanking Classics series. Once
again I stress that this is still a work in progress so further updates may
appear in the future.
